Why should you use Happy Hound University dog training over other services?

 

At Happy Hound University, I believe more than anything that the cornerstone of a dog's training should be trust, respect, and a mutual understanding of both dog and human behavior. I also believe that it's possible to honor these things and still get consistent dog training results.

My dog training philosophy is based on the following principles:

• I will never use pain, fear, or intimidation to force your dog to do something.

• I will always attempt to set your dog up to succeed. 

• All dog training methods and techniques I use are based in the science of behavior.

• Training with your dog should feel more like games than work. Training should be reinforcing for both you AND your dog!

• I treat every dog as an individual with their own personality, and train them as such. If one method does not work for a dog, I will find a humane, science-based dog training technique that does!
